While the effect of travel on fighters flying half way around the world cannot be dismissed, I feel that these lines would have been similar regardless of where the fights took place. Nearly all of these fights are tricky to bet, as 3 of the 5 bouts feature fighters making their UFC debuts. Despite this, I see both Korean fighters Kyung Ho Kang and Hyun Gyu Lim as rightful favourites. The Kang/Caceres fight is especially interesting as the public is fully aware of what Caceres brings to the table from his stint on TUF and six fights in the UFC, and may bet him as the underdog despite Kang having a style that seems difficult for “Bruce Leroy” to deal with. The best advice to give on fights like these is to do your research before laying down your money folks! Just because you recognize a fighter, doesn’t mean he will (or should) win, and that’s exactly how I feel about the fighters facing those UFC debutantes.
