I think he could outstrike Nelson, but I think he plays it smart and takes the safer route to victory in this match-up. Gabe’s Call: Barnett by Unanimous Decision (50-45, 50-45, 50-45) Middleweight bout: Gegard Mousasi (-450) vs Urijah Hall (+360) Gabe’s Thoughts: Mousasi is without a doubt the superior mixed martial artist heading into this 185-pound match-up. I think he gets the better of Hall everywhere for three rounds of action en route to a unanimous decision victory on the judges’ scorecards. I think it’s equally likely that he scores a submission, and a decent chance that he even scores a T/KO over Hall. Like with “Big Country” in the main event, Hall’s only chance at winning this fight is that of a punchers. If he does not find the one-shot, highlight reel knockout blow against the tough-to-finish Mousasi, he is going to be in for a long night. I expect this to be an easy win for the Armenian and think he should favored in the -650 to -700 range heading into this contest, so I see value in him at his current offering price of -450.
