After a month break, The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is returning with another pay-per-view, this time in Houston, Texas on October 3rd. UFC 192 will feature the unanticipated light heavyweight title bout between champion Daniel Cormier and challenger Alexander Gustafsson. Cormier picked up the belt in a fight against Anthony Johnson when Jon Jones was stripped of his title while Gustafsson earned his shot by being knocked out by Anthony Johnson. Makes sense. The co-main event is a huge welterweight clash between Tyron Woodley and former champion Johny Hendricks. Both men are at the top of the heap in the UFC 170-pound division and a win almost certainly will propel the victory into the next title shot against the Lawler/Condit winner. The remaining UFC 192 main card features a light heavyweight battle between former champ Rashad Evans and top contender Ryan Bader, a heavyweight match-up between Shawn Jordan and Ruslan Magomedov as well as a women’s bantamweight fight between Julianna Pena and Jessica Eye. The undercard also showcases a flyweight battle between top ranked contenders Joseph Benavidez and Ali Bagautinov.
