Invicta Fighting Championship will soldier on with its fourth event of 2015 which will take place in Kansas City, Missouri on September 12th. Invicta FC 14 will feature the bantamweight title bout between champion Tonya Evinger and undefeated challenger Pannie Kianzad. Evinger won the title this past July in a very impressive late fourth round finish of talented Mexican fighter Irene Aldana while Kianzad earned her shot on the same card with a hard-fought unanimous decision victory over Jessica Rose-Clark in her Invicta debut. The co-main event will feature former Invicta FC women’s strawweight champion Katja Kankaanpaa as she looks to bounce back against undefeated contender DeAnna Bennett. Kankaanpaa lost her belt via fourth round submission in her last fight this past April while Bennett earned her shot with a unanimous decision victory over Norma Rueda Center in February. Also on tap, women’s MMA pioneer Roxanna Madafferi battles Mariana Moraes in what could potentially be a number one contender bout in the flyweight division.
