The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is closing 2015 with a bang as the promotion is just showing off at this point with a freakishly strong card, which will take place in Las Vegas, Nevada on December 12th. UFC 194 will feature the much-anticipated featherweight title bout between champion Jose Aldo and interim champ Conor McGregor. They were originally scheduled to meet at UFC 189 this past July but Aldo was forced out with a rib injury, and McGregor hasn’t stopped reminding him about it ever since. This could go down as one of the biggest fights in UFC history if everyone plays their cards right. The co-main event is another title fight, this time in the middleweight division as champion Chris Weidman looks to defend his belt against former Strikeforce middleweight champion Luke Rockhold. Weidman has looked unstoppable ever since he dethroned former pound-for-pound great Anderson Silva, most recently knocking off Vitor Belfort with a quick first round stoppage. Not to be outdone, Rockhold most recently stopped former UFC light heavyweight champion Lyoto Machida via second round submission, his fourth straight stoppage inside the first two rounds The remaining UFC 194 main hasn’t officially been announced, but there are multiple match-ups between top-ranked fighters including Jacare Souza vs Yoel Romero, Demian Maia vs Gunnar Nelson, Max Holloway vs Jeremy Stephens, Urijah Faber vs Frankie Saenz and Tecia Torres vs Michelle Waterson.
