MMAOddsBreaker’s Frank Trigg speaks with Bellator 141 heavyweight Lorenzo Hood as he prepares for his upcoming main card bout this Friday night (August 28, 2015) against Raphael Butler at the Pechanga Resort and Casino in Temecula, California.
The former semi-pro football player feels he has a unique set of skills due to his elite athleticism in the heavyweight division, something he thinks is lacking in both the Bellator and UFC heavyweight divisions:
“I love to be competitive and I think I bring something to the heavyweight division right now in the UFC and Bellator that they don’t really have. Which is a guy who’s not gonna lay on you in the second round, a guy who’s not gonna get tired after 10 seconds throwing a couple punches. It’s kind of like, and I’m not comparing myself to Muhammad Ali at all, but I like to think I bring that finesse to the heavyweight division.”
