He is the fighter between the two who possesses more power and has the better chin, so that makes me favor him in the stand-up, even though Teixeira will be a threat there throughout the contest. He would also be a threat on the mat. Both fighters are talented all around and are capable of finishing the fight anywhere, though if OSP submits Teixeira, most likely it will be because he hurt him with his heavy hands first. I think OSP should be a -140 betting favorite here, so I’ll take him at +100. I see this fight as a “dog or pass” situation and I am opting to make a play on the underdog.
