UFC on FX 8 Set For May Yesterday we reported the upcoming middleweight matchup between Luke Rockhold and Vitor Belfort, and today we have  a date for the fight. According to journalist Guilheme Cruz of TATAME magazine, Rockhold and Belfort will square off in the main event of UFC on FX 8, which is likely to take place at Jaragua Arena in Santa Catarina Jaragua do Sol, Brazil on May 18. Verbal agreements are in place for the UFC to hold its first event in that city. The MMA betting line hasn’t been released for Belfort/Rockhold, but when it does expect the fight to be close to a Pick ’em with a slight lean towards the hometown star Belfort. This should be an ultra competitive match when it happens and the winner is expected to be in line for a title shot against UFC middleweight champion and No. 1 pound-for-pound fighter according to the MMA Fighter Rankings Anderson Silva.
