UFC 190 Date: August 1, 2015 Arena: HSBC Arena City: Rio de Janeiro, Brazil The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) returns to Rio de Janeiro this Saturday (August 1, 2015) with UFC 190: Rousey vs Correia with a stacked 13-fight card. Main card action will get going at 10pm ET on Pay Per View, with preliminary action preceding it at 8pm ET on FOX Sports 1 and a pair of scraps on UFC Fight Pass prior to that at 7pm ET. If interested in wagering on this parlay, or any bouts on this fight card, all betting lines will be made available at Several Bookmakerss. Here’s a pair of three-way parlays for UFC 190: Women’s Bantamweight title bout: Bethe Correia (+1100) vs Ronda Rousey (-1700) Gabe’s Thoughts: Nothing needs to be said here. Rousey gets an easy win, in dominant fashion. I see her ground and pounding Correira, and then I see her either getting a T/KO stoppage or a rear naked choke submission, her first non-armbar submission victory. Gabe’s Call: Rousey by Technical Submission (rear naked choke, 4:37 round 1) Heavyweight bout: Antonio Silva (+170) vs Soa Palelei (-200) Gabe’s Thoughts: In short, I think Silva’s chin is done and expect the first good punch Palelei lands to put him away. This could be the swan song for “Bigfoot” Silva. Gabe’s Call: Palelei by T/KO (punches, 0:18 round 1) Welterweight bout: Nordine Taleb (+185) vs Warlley Alves (-225) Gabe’s Thoughts: This is a fight that could end up beint a solid contender for the evening’s ‘Fight of the Night’ honors. While I think it has a good chance of being a fun fight, I don’t see it being very close, as I think the Brazilian is the more talented fighter of the two. Following a disappointing controversial split decision win against Alan Jouban in his last outing, Alves has taken some time off and looks to return in impressive fashion. That said, I think his chances of defeating Taleb on the judges’ scorecards are greater than if he was able to finish him. I think he has a decent chance of either getting a T/KO or submission in this match-up, I just think the odds of him taking it on the cards are better, and with the total of Over 2.5 rounds currently being -140, I see value in it. I also see value in Alves at -225, as I think he should be a -440 betting favorite heading into this contest. Gabe’s Call: Alves by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27) Gabe’s Recommended Parlays: 1) Rousey (-1700), Palelei (-200) and Alves (-225) at +129 for 3.9u to win 5.04u and 2) Rousey/Correia Under 1.5 rounds (-340) with Silva/Palelei Under 1.5 rounds (-170) and Taleb/Alves Over 2.5 rounds (-140) at +252 for 2.2u to win 5.5u
