UFC on Fox 16 Date: July 25, 2015 Arena: United Center City: Chicago, IL The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) returns to Chicago tonight (July 25, 2015) for UFC on FOX 16: Dillashaw vs Barao. The fight card is stacked with 12 scraps, with the main card kicking off at 8pm ET on FOX and preliminary action getting going on the same channel at 6pm ET with four preliminary bouts streaming live on UFC Fight Pass priot to that at 4:15pm ET. If interested in wagering on these props, or any plays on this fight card, all betting lines will be made available at Several Bookmakerss. Here are my prop plays for UFC on FOX 16: Joe Lauzon (-335) vs Takanori Gomi (+305) Gomi in Round One (+925) .4u to win 3.7u This is a good bet to make if you’ve got Lauzon in a parlay, or even a straight play. I could see “The Fireball Kid” catching “J-Lau” early in this bout and recording an upset, and at +925, I think it’s worth a stab, even if you have no action on Lauzon. Gian Villante (-200) vs Tom Lawlor (+185) Villante -3.5 (+100) 2u to win 2u I think Villante gets the better of Lawlor for all three rounds of action in this bout, if not scoring a finish. I think a unanimous 30-27 nod on the judges’ scorecards is more likely, considering how tough and durable Lawlor is. Elizabeth Phillips (-165) vs Jessamyn Duke (+145) Phillips by T/KO (+353) .5u to win 1.76u This is technically a rematch between this women’s bantamweights. The first bout took place during their amateur careers and Duke defeated Phillips via guilltine choke submission in the second round. She was the better fighter then, but I think Phillips is the better fighter today, and I see her defeating Duke, likely via T/KO.
