Three-Way Parlay for UFC on FOX 16

Gian VillanteUFC on Fox 16 Date: July 25, 2015 Arena: United Center City: Chicago, IL The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) returns to Chicago tonight (July 25, 2015) for UFC on FOX 16: Dillashaw vs Barao. The fight card is stacked with 12 scraps, with the main card kicking off at 8pm ET on FOX and preliminary action getting going on the same channel at 6pm ET with four preliminary bouts streaming live on UFC Fight Pass priot to that at 4:15pm ET. If interested in wagering on this parlay, or any bouts on this fight card, all betting lines will be made available at Several Bookmakerss. Here’s my three-way parlay for UFC on FOX 16: Light Heavyweight bout: Tom Lawlor (+175) vs Gian Villante (-210) Gabe’s Thoughts: I think Villante should be a -500 betting favorite heading into this 205-pound contest and see a lot of value in him at his current asking price of -210. He will have advantages in striking, wrestling and physical size heading into this bout. The Long Islander looked the best he has ever looked in his last outing, where he knocked out TUF 19 winner Corey Anderson with a head-kick in the third and final round of action. I think this is a step down for Villante following that bout and see him having his way with Lawlor. I like both of these guys but personally I am a bigger fan of Lawlor’s, however I think his chances of getting his hand raised in this match-up are very slim. I think the question to ask if whether Villante gets the finish here or takes the win on the judges’ scorecards. Lawlor is tough and hard to put away, so I like Villante to outwork Lawlor over three rounds for the unanimous decision nod. Gabe’s Call: Villante by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27) Lightweight bout: James Krause (+145) vs Daron Cruickshank (-165) Gabe’s Thoughts: I believe “The Detroit Superstar” is the superior mixed martial artist between the two heading into this lightweight contest and see him getting the better of Krause over three rounds of action for a unanimous decision victory, possibly finding another higlight-reel knockout finish along the way. Cruickshank has the edge in striking and wrestling, while Krause has the edge in submissions, size and reach. However, I think Cruickshank’s superior tecnique will be good enough for him to get past Krause’s size and reach advantage on the feet. As long as Cruickshank avoids getting caught, I like his chances of winning this bout and returning to the win column. At his current asking price of -165, I think there’s enough value to include him in this three-way parlay for UFC on FOX 16 in Chi-town. Gabe’s Call: Cruickshank by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 29-28) Women’s Bantamweight bout: Elizabeth Phillips (-165) vs Jessamyn Duke (+145) Gabe’s Thoughts: This is technically a rematch between this women’s bantamweights, as they faced each other during their amateur careers, in a fight Duke won via second round guillotine choke submission. Duke was the better fighter then, however I think Phillips is the better fighter today. Duke will certainly have the size and reach advantage heading into this bout, but I think it will be Phillips who possesses the advantage in power, thus I see Phillips getting the better of the exchanges on the feet. I could see the Washington-based fighter winning this bout inside the distance or on the judges’ scorecards, and I favor her to get the job done by T/KO, possibly in the first stanza. At -165, I believe she is the right side for a play here and I like her as the first leg of my three-way parlay. Gabe’s Call: Phillips by T/KO (punches, 4:15 round 1) Gabe’s Recommended Parlays: Villante (-210), Cruickshank (-165) and Phillips (-165) at +280 for 3.6u to win 10.1u
