Lorenz Larkin This is a sample of some of the UFC Fight Night 70 prop bets that cashed big for bettors. To bet on props like these in the future, go to the ‘Props’ section under ‘Fighting’ at Several Bookmakers. Yoel Romero wins in round 3 (+1200) The main event saw Yoel Romero destroy Lyoto Machida in the third round with elbows. Romero has now won six fights in the UFC and four of the wins have come in the third round, which is amazing. The prop on Romero finishing Machida in the third round cashed at +1200, a great bet for any savvy enough to pick up on this Romero trend. Lorenz Larkin wins in round 2 (+285) In a welterweight scrap that won “Fight of the Night,” Lorenz Larkin brutally finished Santaigo Ponzinibbio in the second round with punches. Both guys exchanged heavy strikes for nearly two full rounds before Larkin was finally able to catch Poniznibbio on the chin and finish him. The prop on Larkin winning in round 2 hit at a nice +285. Antonio Carlos Junior wins by submission (+283)/Junior wins in round 3 (+800) In a middleweight fight, Antonio Carlos Junior earned his most impressive UFC win yet as he submitted Eddie Gordon in the third round with a rear-naked choke. Carlos Junior’s wrestling was very dominant in this fight and while Gordon fought to the bitter end, ultimately he had to tape out. The prop on Carlos Junior winning by submission hit at +283 and Carlos Junior wins in round 3 hit at +800. Alex Oliveira wins by decision (+493) In the main event of the prelims, Alex Oliveira earned a clear-cut unanimous decision over Joe Merritt. Most figured Oliveira would be able to get the submission but Merritt showed great poise on the ground, although ultimately Oliveira just outclassed him in most areas of the game as he won the decision. The prop on Oliveira winning by decision hit at a huge +493 for those who took the chance. Tony Sims wins in round 1 (+335) In one of the early prelims, Tony Sims earned an impressive first-round KO on TUF 21’s Steve Montgomery to secure a big victory in his UFC debut. Sims showed off a great chin as he ate a knee and then followed it up with a huge punch that fell Montgomery, who went down face first. The prop on Sims wins in round 1 cashed at +335, a nice number in hindsight for a knockout artist against a guy with a bad chin.
