Joanna Jedrzejczyk wins in round 3 (+525) The main event saw UFC women’s strawweight champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk continue her reign of destruction as she absolutely destroyed Jessica Penne en route to a third-round TKO victory. Penne was very durable but Jedrzejczyk kept throwing strikes and the referee was forced to stop the fight in the third because of all the damage she was taking. The prop on the champ to retain her title in the third round cashed at +525. Mairbeck Taisumov wins in round 2 (+625) In a welterweight matchup, Mairbeck Taisumov continued to knock opponents out in the Octagon as he became the first man to stop Alan Patrick. Taisumov’s takedown defence looked exceptional and his striking, as usual, was pinpoint and brutal, and overall he looked fantastic in earning his fourth UFC victory. The prop on Taisumov to win in round 2 cashed at +625, so congrats if you placed a bet on it. Arnold Allen wins by submission (+939)/Allen wins in round 2 (+1950) In a featherweight bout, prospect Arnold Allen overcame a tough first two rounds against Alan Omer to storm back in the third and win via guillotine choke. Allen’s desire to win even when down on the cards was very evident in this fight, one he took on short notice, and at 21 he will continue to get better and better in the future. The prop on Allen wins by submission hit at +939 and Allen wins in round 3 cashed at a massive +1950. Magomed Mustafaev wins in round 2 (+750) In a lightweight contest, Magomed Mustafaev earned the first win of his UFC career as he stopped a tough Piotr Hallmann in the second round via doctor stoppage due to cuts. Mustafaev’s striking was deadly during the entire fight and it’s a credit to Hallmann he was able to absorb so much punishment. An elbow in the second cut him open, though, and the doctor was right to stop the fight. The prop on Mustafaev wins in round 2 cashed at +750 for those who bet it. Taylor Lapilus wins by T/KO (+900)/Lapilus wins in round 2 (+1275) In the first fight on the card, bantamweight prospect Taylor Lapilus earned the most impressive win of his young career as he knocked out Ulka Sasaki in brutal fashion. Lapilus stuffed all of Sasaki’s takedowns and showed off his brutal striking in a fight that really puts his name out there as a bantamweight prospect to watch. The prop on Lapilus winning by T/KO cashed at +900, and the prop on him winning in round 2 hit at +1275.
