Allen’s desire to win even when down on the cards was very evident in this fight, one he took on short notice, and at 21 he will continue to get better and better in the future. Magomed Mustafaev wins in round 2 (+750) In a lightweight contest, Magomed Mustafaev earned the first win of his UFC career as he stopped a tough Piotr Hallmann in the second round via doctor stoppage due to cuts. Mustafaev’s striking was deadly during the entire fight and it’s a credit to Hallmann he was able to absorb so much punishment. An elbow in the second cut him open, though, and the doctor was right to stop the fight. The prop on Mustafaev wins in round 2 cashed at +750 for those who bet it. Taylor Lapilus wins by T/KO (+900)/Lapilus wins in round 2 (+1275) In the first fight on the card, bantamweight prospect Taylor Lapilus earned the most impressive win of his young career as he knocked out Ulka Sasaki in brutal fashion. Lapilus stuffed all of Sasaki’s takedowns and showed off his brutal striking in a fight that really puts his name out there as a bantamweight prospect to watch. The prop on Lapilus winning by T/KO cashed at +900, and the prop on him winning in round 2 hit at +1275.
