Bellator 138’s Daniel Straus: ‘It’s not like I haven’t fought anybody that’s undefeated before’

MMAOddsBreaker’s Frank Trigg speaks with Bellator 138 featherweight Daniel Straus as he prepares for his upcoming main card bout tonight (June 19, 2015) against Henry Corrales at the Scottrade Center in St. Louis, Missouri.

The former Bellator champion is looking to rebound from a tough title defeat and he’s hoping to make a statement against a dangerous and undefeated prospect tonight:

“Guys that are undefeated, you’ve got to dig a little deeper because they want to keep that zero. They want to keep pushing. They don’t realize that they might be in a bad position and they’re just working off of instinct and whatnot. It’s not like I haven’t fought anybody that’s undefeated before. I’m going to give him what I give everyone else, which is the best of me.  [Henry Corrale] is a talented fighter. Hats off to the guy or whatever, but we all know what this job is. It’s get inside the cage and throw blows. He’s gonna throw blows and I’m gonna throw even harder blows.”
