MMAOddsBreaker’s Frank Trigg speaks with UFC Fight Night 68 bantamweight Anthony Birchak as he prepares for his upcoming main card fight tonight (June 6, 2015) against Joe Soto at the Smoothie King Arena in New Orleans, Louisiana.
The former MFC bantamweight champion knows he’s fighting for his life in there against Soto and he could potentially have his back against the wall:
“I’m 0-1, he’s 0-1. We’re fighting for our fucking jobs. No one wants to think that but at the end of the day, UFC is a business and having either one of us going 0-2 is not good. I plan on fighting my ass off. I know Joe plans on fighting his ass off. That cage is going to be getting smaller and smaller and the walls are gonna close in and eventually we’re gonna be fighting in a fucking phone booth.”
