UFC Fight Night 67 Date: May 30, 2015 Arena: Goiana Arena City: Goiana, Goias, Brazil The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) returns to Brazil tomorrow (May 30th, 2015) with UFC Fight Night 67: Condit vs Alves. If interested in wagering on this this Pay Per View fight card, all betting lines will be made available at Several Bookmakerss. My Fights to AVOID betting for UFC Fight Night 67 are: Welterweight bout: Darren Till (+100) vs Wendell Oliveira (-120) Fight Prediction: In short, I think there are currently too many question marks surrounding both fighters to make a wager on this bout. I think a bet on either fighter in this contest would be the true definition of a gamble, and I opt to pass on that. No value on either side, so for me, this has to be a fight to avoid at the sportsbooks come tomorrow night. Gabe’s Call: Oliveira by T/KO (punches, 0:17 round 1) Gabe’s Recommended Play: AVOID Women’s Strawweight bout: Ericka Almeida (+175) vs Juliana Lima (-210) Fight Prediction: I lean towards Lima to get her hand raised in this match-up while simultaneously extending her Octagon winning streak to 2-0, but that said, I do not agree with her current betting price of -210, nor do I see enough value in her opponent Almeida at +175 to pull the trigger there, either. I think Octagon jitters could play a real factor with her, so I would not trust her as a live dog here in her debut. I think this is a “favorite or pass” situation, and this -210 favorite is not one I feel comfortable throwing in a parlay, so for me, this women’s 115-pound contest has to be avoided come tomorrow. Gabe’s Call: Lima by Unanimous Decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28) Gabe’s Recommended Play: AVOID Welterweight bout: Luiz Dutra (+155) vs Tom Breese (-175) Fight Prediction: This is another match-up where I lean towards the betting favorite, though I do not think he is worth a play at his current price, and his opponent does not offer enough value as an underdog, either. I can’t get myself to pull the trigger on either fighter at these odds. This is also another fight that will answer some questions concerning both fighters; with Dutra making his return to the cage following an extended layoff, and Breese making his long awaited Octagon debut. It is possible both fighters could be suffering from cage-rust. I find it hard to trust either welterweight with my wallet in this instance and think this is a fight best off staying away from and hoping it turns out to be a great one, so I can just enjoy it as a fan of the sport. Gabe’s Call: Breese by Unanimous Decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28) Gabe’s Recommended Play: AVOID
