The four-fight main card kicks off on FOX at 8pm, with preliminary action preceding it on the same channel at 6pm ET and UFC Fight Pass at 4:30pm priot tothat. If interested in wagering on this parlay, or any other plays for this fight card, all betting lines will be made available at Several Bookmakerss. My Fights to AVOID Betting for UFC on FOX 15 are: Light Heavyweight bout: Ovince St. Preux (+110) vs Patrick Cummins (-120) Fight Prediction: This is just a very tough fight to commit my wallet to. Cummins’ wrestling advantage should be enough, but I don’t trust that it will. I think this is a good fight to skip and enjoy. Although I predicted a Cummins unanimous decision win in his last fight when he faced Antonio Carlos Junior but I felt the same way then and passed on betting the fight. I was already kicking myself a minute into the fight and the same thing could very well happen here, but I’m gonna stick to my guns and sit this one out. On a sidenote, Eddie Bravo and Brendan Schaub have a bet going on this fight. They wagered $1,000; Bravo picking OSP, and “Big Brown” siding with Cummins, both due to their personal relationships with the fighters. Bravo also made a side-bet with Schaub that OSP will finish Cummins with a twister submission, which would be the second one ever in the UFC. Bravo is risking $100 to win $10,000 from Schaub, who sees it as a free hundred bucks. Gabe’s Call: Cummins by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27) Gabe’s Recommended Play: AVOID Bantamweight bout: Aljamain Sterling (-360) vs Takeya Mizugaki (+325) Fight Prediction: I favor Sterling to get the win here in his backyard and climb up the ranks, however I don’t agree with the current betting odds. I think he should be a -280 favorite in this contest, so at the current odds, I would have to say the betting value is with the veteran Mizugaki, making this a dog or pass situation. That said, I am a believer in Sterling, so for me, this is going to be a fight to avoid at the sportsbooks come tomorrow. Gabe’s Call: Sterling by Unanimous Decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28) Gabe’s Recommended Play: AVOID Middleweight bout: Chris Dempsey (+375) vs Eddie Gordon (-420) Fight Prediction: I think Gordon is the superior mixed martial artist heading into this 185-pound scrap and in my opinion has the brighter future in the sport. I expect him to get the better of Dempsey both on the feet and on the mat; I think a finish is likely, but if not, he should be do enough to secure a unanimous decision on the judges’ scorecards. That said, I think he is overpriced at his current betting tag of -420, as I think he should be -350. Much like with the Sterling bout, I think this Serra-Longo products fight is also a dog or pass situation. There’s no way I could talk myself into playing the dog here, so for me, it ultimately has to be a pass. Gabe’s Call: Gordon by T/KO (punches, 1:37 round 1) Gabe’s Recommended Play: AVOID
