UFC on Fox 15’s Tim Means: ‘George Sullivan doesn’t do well moving backwards’

MMAOddsBreaker’s Frank Trigg speaks with UFC on Fox 15 light heavyweight Patrick Cummins as he prepares for his upcoming preliminary card bout this Saturday night (April 18, 2015) against Ovince St. Preux at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.

The “Dirty Bird” has been on a nice run his last few fights in the welterweight division, and he’s confident that his familiarity with Sullivan’s fighting style will help him pull out the win on fight night:

“[George Sullivan] has big power. Everything he throws, he throws through the fence. He tries to take you out with it. The one thing he doesn’t do good is he doesn’t go good moving backwards when he’s getting thrown on. He has weird defense. He’s all over the place. I actually have a training partner named George and they look identical. The only thing different is the last name and the tattoos. Everything else, the height, is all the same. So I’ve been seeing George for many years now. I just need to go fight the other George. I think the guys is going to stand in front of me and try to take my head off and I’ve just got to make him miss.”
