The UFC veteran is hoping to get back to the big show with an impressive win, and he’s hoping his conditioning will be a big advantage against his upcoming opponent:
“I like to stay on the outside, play it smart. I don’t like to put myself in bad situations unless I have no other choice. I think he’s a guy who can put me in bad situations so that’s something I’ve got to worry about. He’s very aggressive, good shots. He throws big haymakers. He’s a tough guy so it’s not gonna be an easy fight for me, but I think if I can drag him into the later rounds, I can drown him. He hasn’t fought very much in the last few years so I don’t know what his shape is like. This could be a five round brawl.”
