Quick One-Liners for UFC Fight Night 61 in Brazil

Frank MirIn one line, I will be providing my own personal description for every fight ahead of us at tonight’s UFC Fight Night 60 in Colorado. I will also be following the Twitter rule of thumb of keeping them in 140 characters or less. Sunday night’s 11-fight card will be live on FOX Sports 1 at 8pm ET. Preliminary action will precede it on FOX Sports 2 at 6pm ET with four fights, and a fight before it at 5:30pm ET on UFC Fight Pass. If interested on making any wagers for this fight card, all lines will be made available to you at Several Bookmakerss. And without further ado, here are my one-liners for UFC Fight Night 61 in Brazil… MAIN CARD (FOX SPORTS 1) Antonio Silva vs Frank Mir Very good chance we will end up feeling sorry for the heavyweight who comes out on the losing end of this fight. Edson Barboza vs Michael Johnson This lightweight co-main event scrap is undoubtedly the one match-up on the entire card fight fans look forward to most. Cezar Ferreira vs Sam Alvey Pair of TUF veterans who are set to compete in a 185-pound bout that I could not be any less interested in. Adriano Martins vs Rustam Khabilov These talented lightweights with something to prove will be looking to do just that this Sunday night in Porto Alegre. Iuri Alcantara vs Frankie Saenz A bantamweight bout that does not make much sense from a match-making perspective but could be a sleeper for the evening’s FOTN bonus. Sean Strickland vs Santiago Ponzinibbio Strickland makes his 170-pound debut and looks to stay undefeated vs Argentina’s Ponzinibbio in a fight the crowd will likely get behind. PRELIMINARY CARD (FOX SPORTS 2) Jessica Andrade vs Marion Reneau This women’s bantamweight contest headlines the prelims but could end up stealing the whole show. William Macario vs Matt Dwyer The only other fight on the card that is as likely to end in T/KO as the heavyweight main event. Mike de la Cruz vs Tiago Trator More than anything, this is a match-up that will answer questions surrounding both fighters. Cody Gibson vs Douglas Silva Bantamweight scrap that kicks off the televised prelims and is likely to be the fight that starts to get the Brazilian crowd going. PRELIMINARY CARD (UFC FIGHT PASS) Josh Shockley vs Ivan Jorge There’s a reason this bout is all the way on the bottom of the prelims, so if you tune in late and miss it, you’ll likely be happy about it.
