Here’s my two-way parlay for UFC Fight Night 61 in Brazil: Lightweight bout: Adriano Martins (+220) vs Rustam Khabilov (-300) Gabe’s Thoughts: I think Khabilov is going to use his superior wrestling to overwhelm the Brazilian on his home turf in this match-up and I could see him earning a late stoppage or winning a decision on the judges’ scorecards. I don’t think Martins’ will manage to keep the fight on the feet and outpoint Khabilov or knock him out. While he has an excellent Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu game, I don’t think he will manage to submit Khabilov off his back. I think Khabilov should be a -430 favorite in this contest, so at -300 I like him for the first leg of this two-way parlay for UFC Fight Night 61 in Brazil. Gabe’s Call: Khabilov by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27) Welterweight bout: Matt Dwyer (+180) vs William Macario (-260) Gabe’s Thoughts: I think this fight will play out more or less like Dwyer’s Octagon debut against Albert Tumenov, whom he lost to via first round knockout. It may not be as quick or as vicious, but Macario is the superior striker heading into this contest and I don’t see him allowing Dwyer to make it out of the first stanza. However, if he does manage to tough it out, I think his toughness will all he will have going for him, as the Brazilian would cruise to a comfortable, one-sided unanimous decision victory on the judges’ scorecards, much like his fight against veteran Bobby Voelker.
