UFC Fight Night 60’s Neil Magny: ‘It’ll be hard for Kunimoto to get me to the ground’

MMAOddsBreaker’s Frank Trigg speaks with UFC Fight Night 60 welterweight Neil Magny about his upcoming main card bout Saturday night (Feb. 14, 2015) against Kiichi Kunimoto at the 1stBank Center in Broomfield, Colorado.

The talented former Ultimate Fighter competitor is riding a huge five-fight winning streak and he knows exactly what his opponent is working on heading into this fight and is prepared for it:

“I think [Kunimoto]’s training on how to close the distance and get the fight to the ground. I think he’s gonna work on closing the distance, getting a hold of me and trying to get to the ground as soon as possible. I think it’ll be hard for him to get me to the ground to begin with. I’m a guy that likes to push the pace of the fight and even if it does go to the ground, I’m training my jiu-jitsu as well. It won’t be a walk in the park for him.”
