UFC Fight Night 58’s Tim Means: ‘I’m becoming a true mixed martial artist’

MMAOddsBreaker’s Frank Trigg speaks with UFC Fight Night 58 welterweight Lyoto Machida as he prepares for his upcoming preliminary card bout against Marcio Alexandre this Saturday night (Dec. 20, 2014) at the Ginásio José Corrêa in Barueri, Brazil.

The former lightweight feels at home now that he’s competing at 170 pounds and he’s expecting to defeat “Lyoto” wherever this fight goes, whether standing or on the ground:

“If he wants to make it a phone booth fight, that’s how I like to fight. Right in your face and peppering you a bit. He likes to keep range with that karate base and I expect to have to find that phone booth and box him in. I’ve also been doing a lot of takedowns in practice and doing a whole lot of wrestling. I really feel I’m becoming a mixed martial artist so I expect to win this fight in the stand-up or on the ground.”
