Gabe Killian’s Parlay for Titan FC 32

bellator-85Titan FC 32 Date: December 19, 2014 Arena: Tsongas Center City: Lowell, MA Titan Fighting Championship returns tonight (Dec. 19, 2014) with Titan FC 32 from the Tsongas Center in Lowell, MA. The event will be headlined by a five round featherweight title fight between Bellator veteran Desmond Green and UFC veteran Steven Siler, and the five fight main card will kick off at 9pm ET on the CBS Sports Network, with a three fight preliminary card preceding it on the same channel. If interested in making this parlay, or any other wagers for this UFC fight card, you will be able to do so at Several Bookmakerss. Here’s my two-way parlay for Titan FC 32: Featherweight title bout: Desmond Green (-260) vs Steven Siler (+220) Gabe’s Thoughts: Simply put, I think Green’s superior wrestling is going to be the difference and his key towards a victory in this match-up, as I see him repeatedly putting Siler on his back for 25 minutes of action to pick up the unanimous nod from the judges cageside. I think this fight would be competitive on the feet, and Green will likely start out looking to knock Siler out, but I think he will eventually decide to change tactics and avoid Siler’s Muay Thai by taking the fight to the mat. He will use some ground and pound on the mat and fend off submission attempts which Siler will likely be constantly threatening with. If this fight stays on the feet for five rounds, Siler could win, but I don’t see him finding success with his takedown defense against the Bellator veteran. There is a chance he could catch Green with a submission but it is a very slim chance. I think the two most likely outcomes to this five round featherweight title fight are Green by Decision and Green by T/KO. Gabe’s Call: Green by Unanimous Decision (50-45, 50-45, 50-45) Lightweight bout: Carlo Prater (+450) vs Rick Hawn (-600) Gabe’s Thoughts: Hawn is eager to make a statement heading into this fight, following his contract termination by Bellator, where he went on a 10-4 run fighting at 155 and 170 pounds. He last faced Dave Jansen nearly two months ago, losing the bout via unanimous decision on the judges’ scorecards. Prater is 1-2 since being released from the UFC and will also be looking to desperately get back into the win column. I think Prater’s gameplan heading into this lightweight contest will be to take Hawn dawn to the mat and attempt to submit him, but I don’t see him finding success with his takedowns, as Hawn has tremendous takedown defense, largely thanks to his background in the sport of Judo. I think Hawn will find success in keeping the fight on the feet, where he will have the advantage, and I see him outstriking Prater for 15 minutes of action en route to a unanimous decision victory on the judges’ scorecards. It would not surprise me at all to see him put Prater away, but I think more often than not he wins this one by decision. Gabe’s Call: Hawn by Unanimous Decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27) Gabe’s Recommended Parlay: Desmond Green (-260) parlayed with Rick Hawn (-600) for -163 2.85u to win 1.75u
