If interested in wagering on these proposition plays, or any other plays for this fight card, you may do so at Several Bookmakerss. My prop plays for UFC on FOX 13 are: Heavyweight bout: Junior dos Santos (-375) vs Stipe Miocic (+335) Miocic by Decision (+600) 1u to win 6u Fight Goes to Decision (+320) .5u to win 1.6u I think this five round main event fight between two heavyweights has a decent chance of playing out for all 25 minutes of action, and when it’s all said and done, I think Miocic has a fair shot of taking home the judges’ decision. I don’t see him finishing the Brazilian by either knockout or submission, but do think he is capable of using his boxing, wrestling and clinch-work to pick up a decision. “Cigano” on the other hand is capable of scoring the knockout, as well as outstriking his way towards a decision win. There’s a good chance this fight hits the judges’ scorecards, and when it does, there’s also a good chance that the nod goes to Miocic. Catchweight bout (161lbs): Rafael dos Anjos (-260) vs Nate Diaz (+240) Diaz +3.5 (-155) 1.55u to win 1u I don’t think the Brazilian will completely blow Diaz out of the water. I think that at the worst, Diaz will manage to at least win one round. If he loses the fight, I think it will be via split decision. That said, I am personally favoring Diaz to score the upset in this fight and take home the victory. I think he will find success with his boxing, and if the fight hits the mat, he will hold his own with his Jiu-Jitsu. However, he could be in trouble of dos Anjos just tries to blanket him and starts finding success doing so. Hopefully the Stockton, CA native’s takedown defense and ability to get back to his feet is something he’s continued to work on during his time away from the cage. Things could get very competitive on the mat, but I expect this fight, or at least the majority of it to take place on the feet, where it will also likely be competitive, but I think Diaz will get the better of the exchanges with his superior boxing. Heavyweight bout: Alistair Overeem (-210) vs Stefan Struve (+190) Fight Won’t Start Round 2 (-200) 2u to win 1u I don’t see this fight making it out of the first round, no easier way to say it. Overeem could knock Struve out, and Struve could knock Overweem out, as well as submit him. I am expecting a finish in the first round of this heavyweight bout, and I am feeling confident we will see one. Heavyweight bout: Gabriel Gonzaga (+115) vs Matt Mitrione (-125) Mitrione by Decision (+648) .5u to win 3.24u I favor Mitrione to win via T/KO than I do by Decision, but I find more value in the Decision prop, so I have to make a small move on it. Women’s Strawweight bout: Claudia Gadelha (-240) vs Joanna Jedrejczyk (+220) Jedrzejczyk +3.5 (-145) 1.45u to win 1u I favor Jedrejczyk to get her hand raised in this match-up, however if she loses as many expect her to, I think she will have done enough to have won at least one round on the judges’ scorecards. The winner of this match-up will take on the UFC’s first strawweight champion Carla Esparza, so a lot is at stake for these two ladies as they get set to make their second trips to the Octagon.
