Gabe Killian’s Three-Way Parlay for the TUF 20 Finale

008_Tecia_Torres_vs_Felice_HerrigTUF 20 Finale Date: December 12, 2014 Arena: The Pearl at Palms Casino Resort City: Las Vegas, NV The Ultimate Fighter Season 20 Finale will be live from Las Vegas this Friday night (Dec. 12, 2014) with 11 scheduled bouts, and the action will be live on FOX Sports 1. If interested in making this parlay, or any other wagers for this UFC fight card, you will be able to do so at Several Bookmakerss. Here’s my three-way parlay for the TUF 20 Finale: Women’s Strawweight bout: Angela Magana (+400) vs Tecia Torres (-550) Gabe’s Thoughts: Torres is without a doubt the superior mixed martial artist heading into this contest and will hold an advantage wherever the fight takes place. Her biggest advantages, I believe will be in the striking and cardio departments, as over 15 minutes I think her volume of strikes, superior technique and cardio will prove to be too much for Magana, and she will likely earn a TKO stoppage over her. If Magana has improved on her cardio and toughs it out throughout the course of the three rounds of action, I think Tecia will end up taking home a one-sided unanimous decision on the judges’ scorecards, having convincingly secured each and every single round. Torres was the favorite to win the TUF 20 tournament, but ended up losing to former Invicta FC strawweight champion Carla Esparza as well as eventual semifinalist Randa Markos in her first bout. She is rightfully justified as a -550 favorite, and in my opinion should be -1400, so huge value there, and certainly worth including in parlays, especially this three-teamer for the TUF 20 Finale. Gabe’s Call: Torres by T/KO (strikes, 4:48 round 1) Women’s Strawweight bout: Joanne Calderwood (-550) vs Seo Hee Ham (+400) Gabe’s Thoughts: I think Calderwood’s striking and size advantages will be her keys towards earning a victory either by way of T/KO stoppage or a unanimous 30-27 decision on the judges’ scorecards. She is certainly the superior mixed martial artist in this match-up and should not have trouble picking up her first official victory inside the UFC’s Octagon. Even if she performs poorly, I think she will manage to edge out every single round, still picking up a unanimous 30-27 nod. I favor a T/KO stoppage over a decision, but both are very likely outcomes. I think the Scotland native should be a -750 favorite heading into this contest, so even at the current betting line of -550, I think there’s enough value to include as the second leg to this here my three-way parlay for Friday night. Gabe’s Call: Calderwood by T/KO (strikes, 3:32 round 3) Women’s Strawweight bout: Aisling Daly (-245) vs Alex Chambers (+205) Gabe’s Thoughts: To put it simply, I think Daly’s striking advantage is going to be the difference maker in this match-up, and I see her out-striking Chambers for three rounds of action en route to picking up her first UFC victory by way of unanimous decision on the judges’ scorecards. Chambers is a tough and skilled fighter, and a solid prospect out of Australia, but I think she is outmatched by the Irishwoman in this bout, and while I think she will likely put up a good performance, I see her ultimately walking away with a loss. Daly is the superior mixed martial artist in this contest and assuming everything is clicking mentally, she should not have trouble getting her hand raised on Friday night. I think she should be a -350 favorite in this bout, so at the current betting price of -245, I like her for the third and final leg for this parlay. Gabe’s Call: Daly by Unanimous Decision (29-28, 30-27, 30-27) Gabe’s Recommended Parlay: Tecia Torres (-550) parlayed with Joanne Calderwood (-550) and Aisling Daly (-245) for -104 4.5u to win 4.35u
