UFC 181’s Sergio Pettis: ‘I see myself finishing it in the stand-up game’

MMAOddsBreaker’s Frank Trigg speaks with UFC 181 bantamweight Sergio Pettis as he prepares for his upcoming preliminary card bout against Matt Hobar this Saturday night (Dec. 6, 2014) at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The talented younger brother of the current UFC lightweight champion knows he has a long ways to go before he reaches his potential, but he expects to really unleash some of his stand-up skills in this bout against Hobar:

“I see myself finishing it in the stand-up game. I feel I’m more technical than him. I’ve just got to let loose when I go in there. These first three fights I had, I was pretty tight and I started to loosen up. In my last fight against Yautzen Meza, I started to get in a groove in there and I feel like that’s going to continue on in my next fight and I’ll go out there, perform, and beat him. I’ll do what I do every day and be loose.”
