Preliminary action will be preceding it at 8pm ET on FOX Sports 2. If interested in wagering on the props suggested in this article, or any other props or wagers, you may do so at Several Bookmakerss. My prop plays for UFC Fight Night 56 in Brazil are: Alan Jouban (+235) vs Warlley Alves (-255) Fight Doesn’t Go to Decision (-160) 1.6u to win 1u Alves Inside the Distance (+121) 1u to win 1.21u I don’t see this fight making its way out of the first round, much less going all three. I think these two strikers will throw leather from the opening bell and one of them will fall before the closing bell of the frame. In my opinion, that somebody will almost certainly be Jouban, as I feel Alves is the superior fighter of the two, as well the more durable one. Not to mention, he is vicious and goes for the kill from the get-go. I think the Brazilian has a bright future in the UFC’s 170-pound division and a win over Jouban will put him on the right track. Thomas Almeida (-330) vs Tim Gorman (+310) Almeida by Decision (+440) .5u to win 2.2u Gorman is very tough and full of heart, so I think there is a decent chance that he survives three rounds with Almeida, sending the undefeated Brazilian to a decision for the first time in his professional mixed martial arts career. I actually favor Almeida to earn yet another T/KO finish here, but with the odds for the decision prop on Almeida being +440, I have to throw a little something on it, as I believe there’s value there.
