MMAOddsBreaker’s Frank Trigg speaks with Bellator 129 welterweight Josh Neer as he prepares for his upcoming main event against Paul Bradley this Friday night (October 17, 2014) at the Mid-America Center in Council Bluffs, Iowa.
The former UFC standout knows his opponent well and he feels that will give him an advantage as they prepare to square off this time around:
“First of all he’s from Iowa so I’ve known him forever. I wrestled him in high school and he wrestled at Iowa. We graduated the same year and I feel like I pretty much know him. I’ve trained with him before. Obviously hes’ a good wrestler so I don’t want to get in a wrestling match with him. I’m looking to keep the fight standing and if we get to the ground, I’ll be looking to submit him or get back up.”
