Bellator 127’s Daniel Straus: ‘I feel like I’m gonna beat his face in’

MMAOddsBreaker’s Frank Trigg speaks with Bellator 127 featherweight Daniel Straus as he prepares for his upcoming main event bout against Justin Wilcox this Friday (October 3, 2014) at the Pechanga Resort & Casino in Temecula, California.

The former Bellator featherweight champion has a stiff test in front of him, but he feels his natural as well as technical abilities will help him gain an edge come fight time:

“I feel like I’m a lot quicker. I feel I have better hand speed and I’m not scared to go anywhere with this kid on the ground or on the feet. I feel like I’m gonna beat his face in. When it comes to the fight, I’ve been working on a lot of my stand-up and my ground, but I really want to showcase more of my stand-up and that’s what I’m looking to do in my fight. I’ll definitely try to stay away from letting him grab me, hold me down and keep me along the fence. Expect me to be throwing some heat at this guy.”
