MMAOddsBreaker’s Frank Trigg speaks with UFC Fight Night 53 featherweight Max Hollaway as he prepares for his upcoming co-main event bout against Akira Corassani this Saturday (October 4, 2014) at the Ericsson Globe Arena in Stockholm, Sweden. Editor’s note: There’s some serious echo when Hollaway is speaking so watch at your own risk!
The top rising prospect knows he’s in a good position here against Corassani and he’s not going to underestimate him despite being on a nice win-streak in the division:
“All my losses, I lost to ranked guys top 10 or higher. It is what it is. I don’t really care about record at the end of the day. I look at my opponent and Akira is a very dangerous guy. He hits hard, he’s very fast and unpredictable. He trains with Frank Edgar so his wrestling and jiu-jitsu are getting better over there. All I can do is get ready to fight and get ready for the best fighter I think Akira can be.”
