Gabe Killian’s Live Dogs for Bellator 125

Ron KeslarBellator 125 Date: September 19, 2014 Arena: Save Mart Center City: Fresno, CA Bellator 125 will be live from Fresno, CA this Friday night with 12 scheduled bouts. Preliminary action will get going at 7pm ET at Spike.com, with the four-fight main card kicking off at 9pm ET on Spike TV. If interested in wagering on these plays, or any other plays for this fight card, you may do so at Several Bookmakerss. My live dogs for Bellator 125 are: Heavyweight bout: Javy Ayala (+280) vs Raphael Butler (-340) Gabe’s Thoughts: I think Butler is the superior mixed martial artist and lean with him to pick up the win here, but I think he is being really over-valued at the current betting line of -340. Ayala has a good chance of defeating him, either by finish or on the judges’ scorecards, so at the underdog price of +280, I do favor him for a small play. In six appearances inside of the Bellator cage, both heavyweights are undefeated and will be looking to keep those streaks alive when they square off tomorrow night in Fresno. Gabe’s Call: Butler by Unanimous Decision (29-28, 29-28, 29-28) Gabe’s Recommended Play: Ayala (+280) 1u to win 2.8u Welterweight bout: Jesse Juarez (-180) vs Ron Keslar (+140) Gabe’s Thoughts: This is another match-up in which I slightly lean with the betting favorite to pick up the win, however I do not agree with the odds. I think the betting lines for this scrap should be closer to a coin-flip, with Juarez being a slight -120 favorite. I think Keslar has a good chance of winning this fight, so I think he is worth a small play at the current underdog price of +140. Keslar has now suffered back to back T/KO losses in consecutive Bellator appearance, so he has his back against the wall heading into this one. Gabe’s Call: Juarez by T/KO (strikes, 3:34 round 3) Gabe’s Recommended Play: Keslar (+140) 1.25u to win 1.75u
