Bellator 125’s Brian Rogers: ‘Rafael Carvalho won’t make his name off me’

MMAOddsBreaker’s Frank Trigg speaks with Bellator 125 middleweight Brian Rogers as he prepares for his upcoming main card bout against Rafael Carvalho this Friday night (September 19th, 2014) at the Save Mart Center in Fresno, California.

The Bellator veteran has had a wide array of opponent changes, and despite dropping in name value, he plans on putting on a big time performance this weekend and won’t be taking Carvalho lightly:

“It doesn’t do anything for me, name-value-wise. It’s a tough, dangerous fight. Obviously he took it to make his name off of me, but that’s not gonna happen. I think it’s a terrible time to fight me right now in my career. I can’t look past him, absolutely cannot, but I’m looking at bigger and better fights. I’ve got my eyes on the main event which is Melvin Manhoef vs Doug Marshall. I want contender fights and big fights.”
