Gabe Killian’s Prop Plays for UFC Fight Night 51

Sean-SpencerUFC Fight Night 51 Date: September 13, 2014 Arena: Nilson Nelson Gymnasium City: Brasilia, Brazil UFC Fight Night 51 will be live this Saturday (September 13th) night from the Nilson Nelson Gymnasium in Brasilia, Brazil. The event will produce an 11-fight card, including a six fight main card that will be streaming live on UFC Fight Pass at 8pm ET, with a preliminary card preceding it at 5:45pm ET, also on UFC Fight Pass. If interested in wagering on these proposition plays, or any other plays for this fight card, these lines will be available to you at Several Bookmakerss. My prop plays UFC Fight Night 51 in Brasilia are: Bantamweight bout: Iuri Alcantara (-295) vs Russell Doane (+265) Doane +3.5 (+140) 1u to win 1.4u Not Alcantara Inside Distance (-130) 1.3u to win 1u I actually straight-up picked Doane to upset Alcantara on enemy territory in Brazi, and should that happen, these bets will also cash. However, should the Hawaiian lose the fight, I feel it will be a very closely contested decision, so while the straight up play on him loses, these props will make up for it. Welterweight bout: George Sullivan (+155) vs Igor Araujo (-165) Fight Goes to Decision (-160) 1.6u to win 1u Sullivan by Decision (+245) 1u to win 2.45u Sullivan +3.5 (-155) 1.55u to win 1u This is another upset I predicted, as I straight-up pick Sullivan to get his hand raised over Araujo, and I favor him to do so via decision on the judges’ scorecards. Should he lose the fight, I feel it will be a very closely contested decision, so we will save ourselves with a couple of these props cashing. I think this fight will hit the judges’ scorecards, and my money says Sullivan will be able to do enough over three rounds of action to earn the nod. That said, just because he deserves to earn it does not mean the judges’ will give it to him, especially considering he is facing a popular Brazilian fighter in his hometown. Araujo may very well get the biggest cheer from the crowd, as he is from Brasilia, Brazil and is now competing in the arena in which he used to be employed in as an ice cream vendor. Welterweight bout: Paulo Thiago (+175) vs Sean Spencer (-190) Spencer Inside the Distance (+304) 1u to win 3.04u Spencer -3.5 (+170) 1u to win 1.7u I think this fight is going to be a “coming out party” type of fight for Spencer, while dubbed as a “going away party” for Thiago. I feel there is a very good chance Spencer stops the Brazilian with strikes, but if not, I think at this point in their careers, there’s a good chance Spencer being the superior mixed martial artist will be able to do enough over 15 minutes of action to pick up every round en route to a unanimous 30-27 decision victory on the judges’ scorecards.
