Bellator 123’s Josh Burns: ‘Bobby Lashley’s always going to have a problem with conditioning’

MMAOddsBreaker’s Frank Trigg speaks with Bellator 123 heavyweight Josh Burns as he prepares for his upcoming main card bout against Bobby Lashley tomorrow night (September 5th, 2014) at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut.

The veteran heavyweight may be going into this bout against Lashley with a wrestling disadvantage, but he feels if he can weather the early storm, he could definitely pull off a victory due to the limitations Lashley puts on himself due to his size:

“I think Bobby [Lashley]’s always going to have a problem with conditioning as long as he carries the size that he carries. He carries those aesthetics for the wrestling, for the fanbase on the wrestling side. They want the cartoon character. They want that really big, aesthetically pleasing look, but as far as MMA is concerned, it’s not functional. I do not believe that it’s ever gonna help him until he decides to cut it down a little bit.”
