MMAOddsBreaker’s Frank Trigg speaks with UFC Fight Night 49 featherweight Max Holloway as he prepares for his upcoming main card bout against Clay Collard this Saturday (August 23, 2014) at the BOK Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
The talented 145-pounder was once expected to move out of Hawaii if he wanted to truly become a threat, but his gym back home is now loaded with UFC talent:
“We got a great team. We have five UFC fighters in the gym now. We’ve got the Hawaii thing going. We’ve got a great thing going and it’s just awesome. We’re all about positivity and it’s just fun to have them. A lot of my teammates are full-time fighters and that’s something you don’t see in Hawaii very often.”
