MMAOddsBreaker’s Frank Trigg speaks with UFC Fight Night 49 welterweight Jordan Mein as he prepares for his upcoming co-main event bout against Mike Pyle this Saturday (August 16, 2014) at the BOK Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
The talented Canadian youngster has had a solid run in the UFC thus far and is looking to continue his upward momentum against the older Pyle. He says he won’t be feeling pressure come fight time due to his mentality:
“I think pressure is just kind of made up. It’s not really a real thing. If I want to decide this is a big moment in my life, then I can make it that way. If I want to decide that it’s not, then it’s not going to be. That’s how I feel anyways. That’s what my beliefs are. I’m glad my name can be out there. I’m glad my face is on that poster because that’s where I belong. It’s what I deserve. I’m happy for that, that’s for sure.”
