Your Best Bets for UFC Fight Night 45’s ‘Fight of The Night’ UFC Fight Night 45 will be live today from Atlantic City with an 11-fight card, including a six-fight main card that will kick off at 9:00 pm ET on FOX Sports 1, with preliminary action getting going at 6:30 pm ET on UFC Fight Pass. After the fights have concluded, the promotion will be awarding a $50,000 ‘Fight of the Night’ bonus for the most exciting bout of the evening. To place a wager on this prop, or any others for this fight card, you may do so at Several Bookmakerss. I believe the best-value contenders for this prize are: White/Martins +600 — This featherweight scrap has a good chance of being very exciting, as both 145-pounders like to move forward and throw leather. I think it’s going to be a fun one to watch, regardless of how long it lasts, and at +600, I feel it’s just barely worth a bet. White has yet to pick up ‘Fight of the Night’ honors, as this is only his second appearance inside the Octagon, though he did earn a ‘Performance of the Night’ for his knockout of Estevan Payan in his promotional debut. Martins, on the other hand, has already picked up one ‘Fight of the Night’ bonus check and will likely be fighting for a second. I expect these two to come out and go at it, and I think it’s going to be one hell of a barn burner. Viana/Sterling +600 — I think this is going to be a phenomenal match-up in the UFC’s bantamweight division. Viana has only one loss on his professional mixed martial arts record and that came against current UFC bantamweight title holder TJ Dillashaw. Sterling’s record, on the other hand, remains perfect and the Brazilian will seriously be threatening it in this match-up. This is a fight between two well-rounded fighters who are both very fun to watch. This is my favorite pick for this prop, because I think when the styles of these two clash, it is undoubtedly going to be fireworks until someone goes down or the final bell sounds. Should Viana and Sterling take home ‘Fight of the Night’ honors, it would mean the first time for both 135-pounders. Gadelha/Lahdemaki +1500 — This is my dark horse pick, though I should mention the chances of it cashing it pretty slim, as there is a good chance that Gadelha will pick up a one-sided victory here. That said, there is also a slight chance that Lahdemaki could make this a very competitive fight which ultimately results in an exciting opening bout for the UFC Fight Night 45 card in Atlantic City. It is also worth mentioning that this is the first ever women’s strawweight bout in UFC history, so as long as it’s a fun fight, I feel it will have a good chance of taking home ‘Fight of the Night’ honors, which of course would be the first for both ladies.
