MMA Oddsbreaker’s Frank Trigg speaks with RFA 15 middleweight Andrew Sanchez as he prepares for his main card bout this Friday (June 6, 2014) against Kevin Casey at Veteran’s Memorial Auditorium in Culver City, California.
The talented fighter out of Finney’s H.I.T. Squad is entering this bout heavily motivated due to perceived lack of respect from his opponent:
“I think I’m gonna surprise this fucker with everything. [Kevin Casey] thinks he’s so much better than me on the ground. He thinks I have nothing to offer him. My jiu-jitsu is pretty sick. I’ve been training with the best guys in the world. I think I’m gonna surprise him on the ground. He knows my wrestling is better than his and I think I’m gonna surprise him on the feet. So pretty much everywhere, man. He’s looking past me. He’s got a bit of an ego on him. He thinks he’s the shit. He thinks he can beat everybody but once he grabs ahold of me and he feels my strength, he’s gonna be in for a rude awakening.”
