MMA Oddsbreaker’s Frank Trigg speaks with UFC Fight Night 41 middleweight CB Dollaway as he prepares for his co-headlining bout this Saturday (May 31, 2014) against Francis Carmont at the 02 World in Berlin, Germany.
The Power MMA product is fighting about as good as he has in his entire career, and he feels it’s due to his insistence on patterning some of his style after fellow successful UFC fighters like Nick Diaz:
“A lot of fans don’t know how down to a science it is. ‘How can I make this guy come to me? How do I get in his head?’ As a fan of the sport, I watch a lot of Nick Diaz. He knows how to get in your head. He knows how to mess with you and he’s been successful at using it. You pick up stuff from other fighters and you take from other people. You have to always be progressing your game. If you think you’re good enough and can practice the same stuff every day and you’ll keep getting better, you’re ignorant. You have to get better every day or this sport will pass you by.”
