MMA Oddsbreaker’s Frank Trigg speaks with UFC Fight Night 41 middleweight Gegard Mousasi as he prepares for his headlining bout this Saturday (May 31, 2014) against Mark Munoz at the 02 World in Berlin, Germany.
The talented striking technician had a hiccup in his UFC middleweight debut, but he’s hoping to get a better chance to showcase his striking prowess against Munoz this time around:
“His last fight he didn’t have a lot of time against Machida, so I’m sure he prepared well [for me] and he has a good gameplan. I’m sure he’s gonna try implement his wrestling because he feels that’s my weakness and his strength. I feel like he’s gonna come hungry and ready. I expect a tough fight. I have to be careful for hte takedowns but I feel like with Mark I will also get some more chances to go for finishes. He likes to exchange punches too so I feel like I can be technical but I can also go for the finishes, punches I can win.”
