MMA Oddsbreaker’s Frank Trigg speaks with UFC 173 lightweight Anthony Njokuani as he prepares for his preliminary card bout this Saturday (May 24, 2014) against Vinc Pichel at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The talented lightweight veteran expects to have a striking advantage heading into this bout, and he hopes his overall solid striking skills are showcased come fight time:
“I just want to play a smart game from start to finish. Don’t get too crazy. Don’t be like Mayweather and try to stay inside, especially with a heavy hitter like this guy because from what I heard he punches really hard. I’m gonna do a lot of lateral movement, confuse him a little bit and just pick him apart.”
