Saturday’s split decision win for Benson “Smooth” Henderson over Frankie “The Answer” Edgar was one of the biggest upsets of the entire fight card even though “Bendo” was a solid favorite to retain his lightweight championship at UFC 150. That’s because most MMA bettors and viewers thought Henderson was far from “Smooth” in his first UFC title defense and “The Answer” was wronged by the judges as he had seemingly won back his belt at the Pepsi Center in Denver by outscoring his opponent in a majority of the rounds. The judges obviously saw the fight differently and made all of the in-progress betting wagers on Edgar losers, giving Several Bookmakers a favorable outcome to the tune of more than $3,000.
