MMAOddsBreaker Rankings Update (CMigrator copy 1)

With UFC 172 and UFC Fight Night 40 taking place the last three weeks, the MMAOddsBreaker rankings were bound to get shook up.  MMA Oddsbreaker’s Brian Hemminger (@BrianHemminger) and Jason Nawara (@JasonNawara) have taken over the reigns of the rankings, which are updated just about after every UFC event. As always, we only show changes in the rankings with this update. To access the full MMAOddsBreaker rankings, click here. Disagree? Feel free to give us your take on our rankings either in the comment section here or on Twitter! Light Heavyweight 1. Jon Jones 2. Daniel Cormier 3. Alexander Gustafsson (+1) 4. Rashad Evans (+1) 5. Glover Texeira (-2) 6. Anthony Johnson (NR) 7. Dan Henderson (+1) 8. Phil Davis (-2) 9. Antonio Rogerio Nogueira 10. Emanuel Newton 11. Chael Sonnen 12. Mauricio Rua 13. Ryan Bader 14. Rafael Cavalcante 15. Quinton Jackson Obviously, the biggest shift in these rankings was Anthony Johnson, who debuts at #6 after soundly defeating Phil Davis in his UFC return two weeks ago. Recent title challenger Glover Texeira also drops a few places after losing a dominant decision to champion Jon Jones. Middleweight (We forgot to include Michael Bisping with our last rankings update, whoops) 1. Chris Weidman 2. Lyoto Machida 3. Vitor Belfort 4. Anderson Silva 5. Jacare Souza 6. Luke Rockhold 7. Yoel Romero 8. Tim Kennedy 9. Michael Bisping (NR) 10. Gegard Mousasi 11. Alexander Shlemenko 12. Mark Munoz 13. Costa Philippou (+1) 14. Yushin Okami 15. Francis Carmont Nothing crazy, although we did gives Costa Philippou a slight boost for knocking out Lorenz Larkin this past Saturday night at UFC Fight Night 40. Welterweight 1. Johny Hendricks 2. Robbie Lawler 3. Matt Brown (+3) 4. Tyron Woodley (-1) 5. Carlos Condit (-1) 6. Rory MacDonald (-1) 7. Jake Ellenberger 8. Dong Hyun Kim 9. Ben Askren 10. Hector Lombard 11. Tarec Saffiedine 12. Jake Shields 13. Demian Maia 14. Douglas Lima 15. Rousimar Palhares Matt Brown takes a leap after his stellar performance against Erick Silva this past Saturday night in the main event of UFC Fight Night 40, scoring his seventh straight UFC victory. Featherweight (For some reason we didn’t have a number 10 in the last rankings, so we substituted Denis Bermudez in where he belonged) 1. Jose Aldo 2. Chad Mendes 3. Frankie Edgar 4. Ricardo Lamas 5. Cub Swanson 6. Dustin Poirier 7. Pat Curran 8. Patricio Pitbull 9. Chan Sung Jung 10. Dennis Bermudez (NR) 11. Dennis Siver 12. Jeremy Stephens 13. Clay Guida 14. Daniel Straus 15. Johnny Eduardo (NR) 10. Bibiano Fernandes 11. Eddie Wineland (-3) 12. Francisco Rivera 13. Iuri Alcantara 14. Alex Caceres 15. Erik Perez Obviously the big shake-up here is the debut of Johnny Eduardo, who scored a massive upset against previously number eight-ranked Eddie Wineland after returning from a two-year hiatus. Flyweight 1. Demetrious Johnson 2. Joseph Benavidez 3. John Dodson 4. Ali Bagautinov 5. Zach Makovsky 6. Ian McCall 7. Jussier Formiga 8. John Lineker 9. John Moraga 10. Justin Scoggins 11.
