If interested in making this parlay, or wagering on any fights or props for UFC 173, you may do so at Several Bookmakerss. Here is my three–way parlay for this card… Bantamweight title bout: Renan Barao (-800) vs TJ Dillashaw (+550) Gabe’s Prediction: While Dillashaw has been consistently showing improvements in his striking game, I believe it is the Brazilian who will enter the five round main event title fight with the advantage on the feet. I don’t think the Team Alpha Male product will find success in taking Barao down, so if the fight does hit the mat, I think it will be on Barao’s terms. There is a chance Dillashaw could catch him, but that’s the only chance I’m giving him in this fight. I am expecting Barao to finish the fight, and unlike his past couple of finishes against Faber and Wineland which were controversial, I have a feeling this one won’t leave room for questions. I think it is either going to be a beautiful submission or a brutal knockout. For a full write-up on this bout, please look for my fight article. Gabe’s Call: Barao by KO (counter-hook, 1:44, round 3) Light heavyweight bout: Dan Henderson (+550) vs Daniel Cormier (-800) Gabe’s Prediction: I believe if Cormier wants to stop Hendo, he is going to stop Hendo. The question is if whether he has the heart to go for the kill against an MMA legend and fellow wrestler he looks up to. If he doesn’t try to put him away, he will cruise to a comfortable 30-27 unanimous decision victory on the judges’ scorecards, but if he tries to put him away, I think he will knock Henderson out. Cormier is too fast and too strong for Henderson. I think he will catch him on the feet, then follow up with strikes to earn a TKO stoppage. Gabe’s Call: Cormier by TKO (punches, 2:59 round 2) Lightweight bout: Katsunori Kikuno (+185) vs Tony “El Cucuy” Ferguson (-265) Gabe’s Prediction: I think this fight is going to play out on the feet, where it’s going to be a boxing vs karate match-up, and ultimately, I think Ferguson’s volume of strikes is going to play the difference when it hits the judges’ scorecards. Gabe’s Call: “El Cucuy” by Unanimous Decision (29-28, 29-28, 30-27) Gabe’s Recommended Parlay: Ferguson (-265) parlayed with Cormier (-800) and Barao (-800) for -135 2.5u to win 1.85u
