UFC 172’s Jim Miller: ‘I don’t expect Yancy Medeiros to be intimidated’

MMA Oddsbreaker’s Frank Trigg speaks with UFC 172 lightweight Jim Miller as he prepares for his preliminary card bout tonight (April 26, 2014) against Yancy Medeiros at the Baltimore Arena in Baltimore, Maryland.

The longtime UFC veteran is taking on a new challenge in Medeiros, who stepped in on short notice when his original opponent Bobby Green went down with an injury:

“[Yancy Medeiros] is a game fighter. He gets in there and is ready to go. I don’t expect him to be intimidated or to back down. I don’t know as much about him as I would Bobby Green or one of these other fighters who competed in Strikeforce or UFC over the years so he could be a dark horse. It’s a fun test and I’m excited for the fight.”
