Five crazy prop bets is a column featured on MMAOddsbreaker.com after every UFC event that highlights the biggest underdog prop bets to cash out from that card Here’s five crazy TUF Nations Finale prop bets that cashed big based on the closing odds at Several Bookmakers. Tim Kennedy wins by five-round decision (+400)/Kennedy wins by unanimous decision (+575) In the main event of the evening, Tim Kennedy proved how underrated he is with a five-round decision victory as an underdog over Michael Bisping. It was the biggest win of Kennedy’s career and he has never looked better in the UFC. The prop on Kennedy winning a decision hit at +400, and the prop on him winning via unanimous decision was +575. Nice job if you bet either/or. Patrick Cote wins by three-round decision (+504) In the co-main event of the evening, Patrick Cote was able to outwork Kyle Noke en route to a three-round decision. Despite the fight being very close on paper, Cote was extremely undervalued in the betting lines and the prop on him to win a decision in his home province of Quebec was a ridiculous +504. If you hit that, congrats, because that was a terrific value play. Elias Theodorou wins inside the distance (+475) In the finals of the TUF Nations middleweight tourney, Elias Theodorou defeated Sheldon Westcott via second-round TKO (punches) in by far his most impressive performance to date. Theodorou was roundly criticized on the internet for his grinding style on the show, but he took the criticism to heart and pulled off a massive TKO victory that will really elevate his stock in the eyes of the public. Theodorou inside the distance hit at +475, so congrats if you bet that. KJ Noons wins inside the distance (+397) In a welterweight battle, Sam Stout was finished by strikes for the first time in his career by KJ Noons, who knocked him out with a beautiful overhand right just 30 seconds into the fight. It was a massive win for Noons in his third Octagon battle, and he will earn more respect from UFC fans because of it. The prop on Noons inside the distance was +397, and nice job if you took a stab at it. Mitch Gagnon wins by three-round decision (+663) And finally, in a bantamweight bout that kicked off the prelims, Mitch Gagnon defeated Timmy Gorman via three-round decision. Everyone thought Gagnon would submit his opponent but he had a hard time doing so and instead of getting his 11th career sub he got his first career decision instead. The prop on Gagnon to win by decision was +663, so congrats if you bet it.
