Bellator 116’s Joey Beltran: ‘I’ll send Vladimir Matyushenko out with a bang’

MMA Oddsbreaker’s Frank Trigg speaks with Bellator 116 light heavyweight Joey Beltran as he prepares for his main card bout this Friday night (April 11, 2014) against Vladimir Matyushenko at the Pechanga Resort and Casino in Temecula, California.

The burly brawler understands that this is likely his opponent’s final professional fight, but that doesn’t mean he plans on taking it easy on “The Janitor:”

“Regardless, I kind of knew that was the stage of the career [Matyushenko] was at. He’s a guy that I grew up watching and have a ton of respect for, but at the same time, I need a win. I’m coming off two straight losses and if he wants to go, I’m gonna do my best to send him out with a bang.”
