Bellator 116’s Vladimir Matyushenko: ‘This next fight against Joey Beltran will be my last’

MMA Oddsbreaker’s Frank Trigg speaks with Bellator 116 light heavyweight Vladimir Matyushenko as he prepares for his main card bout next Friday night (April 11, 2014) against Joey Beltran at the Pechanga Resort and Casino in Temecula, California.

The long-time mixed martial arts veteran has competed in 34 bouts over the course of his 17-year fighting career, but he tells MMAOddsBreaker that this next bout against Beltran will be his last:

“Last fight, Trigg. This is my last fight. Doesn’t matter win or lose. That’s it. Training people, there’s a possibility to open my own gym again. Or I could go the complete opposite direction and work the railroad. I’ll be happy just keeping myself busy.”
