UFC Fight Night 39’s Clay Guida: ‘Kawajiri will feel what Midwest wrestling is all about’

MMA Oddsbreaker’s Frank Trigg speaks with UFC Fight Night 39 featherweight Clay Guida as he prepares for his co-main event bout this weekend (April 11, 2014) against Tatsuya Kawajiri at the du Arena in Abu Dhabi.

The scrappy veteran has some of the best heart and conditioning in the UFC’s featherweight division and he plans on utilizing his physical tools against his Japanese opponent on Saturday:

“[Kawajiri]’s probably a little more technical but he’s gonna feel what the Midwest wrestling and style of striking is all about. With flurries on the ground and scrambles, he’s gonna have a hard time keeping up with me for 15 minutes.”
